Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Job Overview:Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Accounting Assistant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite Contract to Hire opportunity, located in Exton, PA, offers the chance to play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting functions. The position provides exposure to multiple areas of the accounting cycle while working closely with internal teams to help ensure timely financial transactions and reporting activities. Candidates who thrive in detail oriented environments and enjoy contributing to the efficiency of business operations will be well suited for this role.
Compensation:$26 to $38 per hour
Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:- Support daily financial operations by assisting with transaction processing, record maintenance, and general accounting activities.
- Coordinate invoice management efforts, ensuring financial documents are accurately reviewed, entered, and tracked through completion.
- Facilitate payment application and account reconciliation activities to help maintain accurate customer and vendor balances.
- Maintain organized records and perform data entry tasks that support the integrity of accounting information and reporting.
- Contribute to a fast paced transactional environment by managing a significant volume of financial activity while meeting established deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills for the Accounting Assistant:- Previous experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions is preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise accounting software, including Oracle, NetSuite, or similar financial management platforms, is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to accuracy with the ability to manage detailed financial information and documentation.
- Comfortable performing administrative responsibilities and data entry tasks within an accounting environment.
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively and maintain productivity in a high volume transaction setting.
