Are you looking for your next career opportunity as a warehouse picker? Our client in Middletown, CT is looking to add an experienced Picker / Packer to their team. Qualified candidates will have experience working in a warehouse environment in the past. This is a 2nd shift position from 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday paying $19-$21/hr depending on your experience. Responsibilities
- Order Review & Picking: Thoroughly check and accurately pick all items listed on job and customer orders.
- Priority Management: Prioritize picking older or dated orders to prevent items from becoming delayed or outdated.
- Material Issuance & Staging: Issue materials for job orders to support assembly operations, ensuring staging areas are clean, organized, and free of totes on the floor.
- Quality Assurance & Counting: Inspect all picked items to verify correct counts, prevent errors, and maintain strict quality standards.
- Inventory & Discrepancy Reporting: Promptly inform leadership of any errors, operational issues, or missing items during the picking process.
- Efficiency & Targets: Sustain a high rate of picks per hour with minimal errors while meeting daily production targets.
- Teamwork & Flexibility: Collaborate openly with team members and perform other fulfillment duties or cross-functional tasks as business needs require.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to company and OSHA safety protocols, use required PPE, and safely perform tasks involving bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting up to 30–50 lbs.
